- Open Netscape Messenger.
- On the menubar, select Edit > Preferences....
- Select Mail & Groups from the menu. It may be necessary to click on the (+) sign to show the sub-groups.
- Select Identity and enter your account information as below:
Your name: Your name
Email address: userid@650dialup.com
- Select Mail Server
- Enter the following information:
Server Type: POP3
Mail server user name: userid
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.650dialup.com
Incoming mail server: pop3.650dialup.com
- Select POP3 as the Mail Server Type.
- Click on the OK button.
- Netscape Messenger is already configured to send and receive e-mail.
